The Pembroke Area Chamber of Commerce held its Annual Awards Banquet on February 6, 2010 at UNC-Pembroke's University Annex.  It was a night in which the Pembroke Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated the Chamber Membership and those businesses/individuals who made a major impact to the Chamber and the Town of Pembroke.  The award recipient for the Advocate of the Year Award was the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina received by Mr. Fernie Lambert; the Harry West Locklear Award was presented to Ms. Lucille Locklear; the Appearance Award was presented to the Town of Pembroke/Recreation Complex received by Pembroke Mayor Milton Hunt and the Business of the Year was presented to Caring Touch Home Health Care received by Ms. Donna Lowry, CEO.
