About the
Chamber The Pembroke Area Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit corporation organized for the purpose of promoting the general welfare of the area and the quality of life for all its citizens through sound economic development. In support of its mission, the Chamber’s activities: promote business growth in the Pembroke area and Robeson County, serve members with personal and professional development opportunities, and influence public policy decisions that benefit the Pembroke area business community. The Chamber has served has lead the promotion of business and commerce in the Pembroke area for over 30 years. The Pembroke Chamber of Commerce was organized in the mid 1960's and served to organize various community events such as the annual Pembroke Fair and Carnival. A major benefit of your involvement in the Chamber is the opportunity to network with business and civic leaders to support and promote business and economic development and sustain a healthy community. Volunteers are the workforce for the Chamber. The officers and committee leaders are the leading force behind Chamber activities. Monthly meetings are held the last Thursday of each month at noon at Sheff’s Seafood Restaurant in Pembroke, NC. Meeting dates are tentative and subject to change. |
