TOWN MANAGER
Pembroke, NC, population 2,979. Council-manager form of government. Seeking qualified applicant for a town manager reporting to mayor/4 council members. Responsibilities include supervision of 41 employees & management of a $5.6M budget. Departments include water, sewer, streets, parks & recreation, police & Waste Water Treatment Plant. Qualifications include minimum of BA/BS degree. Prefer master’s degree with experience in local government, with general knowledge of federal, state and local laws regarding town government or an equivalent combination of education/experience.
