Dear Chamber Members and Business Community,

          I am deeply honored to be your 2011 president for the Pembroke Area Chamber of Commerce. I’m looking forward to the opportunities and challenges this year will bring for our businesses and community constituents that our Chamber serves in both the county and our great state of North Carolina.  I realize that I have some big shoes to fill.  Our past presidents have moved the Chamber forward and I want to continue these efforts.

The Chamber has value! Amazing value! Your Chamber membership not only entitles you to a lengthy list of direct benefits for your business, it links you to the community and opens the door to relationships you won’t find anywhere else.

That’s really what the Chamber is about –building relationships and your continued involvement in the Chamber activities will help create new relationships and nurture existing ones.  I commend each of you for your commitment to give back to our community.

In 2011, one of the Chamber’s goals is to spread the message that Chamber membership is essential for your business by providing you access to the people and resources that champion Pembroke & Robeson County as a great place to work, play and live.

But to fully realize the value of the Chamber, you need to step out, get involved, and give back.

If you haven’t been to a Chamber meeting or after hours in 2010, I urge you to come out in 2011.  I guarantee it will be worth your time.
 
I feel truly blessed to have the opportunity to serve this year as president, and I look forward to working with each of you to make 2011 the best year for business in Pembroke.

Finally I welcome your questions, comments and suggestions.  I encourage each of you to wake up each day and look forward to the opportunities and blessings we have in this great community.
