“Own A Piece of the Park:” Planned improvements to Pembroke Town Park

The Pembroke Chamber, along with the Town of Pembroke and UNC Pembroke’s Pembroke Town and Gown Committee, is raising funds to complete major improvements to the Pembroke Town Park, which is located at the intersection of Third Street and Odum Road.

Entitled “Own a Piece of the Park,” a planning and fundraising committee, chaired by Spencer Howington, and in conjunction with architect Mike Clark, is developing plans for new walkways, water features, landscaping, and new and improved visitor facilities.

Project donors have the opportunity to be recognized for their contributions through a number of “naming” opportunities.” The fundraising goal is to raise over $100,000 to support the project. To learn more about the project, contact the Pembroke Chamber
